Fortsatta protester i Iran – kvinnor bränner slöjor

Sedan 22-åriga Mahsa Amini dödades av Irans islamiska moralpolis har stora protester genomförts i landet med kvinnor som klipper av sitt hår och tar av sig sina slöjor och bränner dem.
Under de senaste månaderna ska synen på kvinnor som inte täcker håret ha skärpts i Iran. I fredags dog Mahsa Amini efter att blivit misshandlad av moralpoliser i Irans huvudstad Teheran. De anklagade henne för att bryta mot lagen om att bära hijab.
Efter Aminis död har massiva protester brutit ut i landet och man skanderar saker som ”död åt diktatorn” och ”kvinna, liv, frihet”.

Enligt uppgifter har minst fyra människor dödats, över ett dussin skadats och en 10-årig flicka är i kritiskt tillstånd efter att ha blivit skjuten i huvudet av säkerhetsstyrkor under protesterna.
”Vi kommer att slåss, vi kommer att dö, vi kommer att ta tillbaka Iran”, skanderade demonstranter i Teheran i en video som delas på Twitter.
I samband med protesterna har myndigheterna blockerat internetåtkomsten i landet.
